MEMBERS
MassDOT Highway Division owns the current temporary bridge and
will be the owner of the new span in 2016. The agency provides
oversight for the project team. Members of MassDOT's design/build team
include:
- White-Skanska-Koch is a joint venture comprised of
Framingham based J.F. White
Contracting Company and Skanska-Koch
of Cateret, New Jersey. Leading the design/build team, this joint
venture will be responsible for constructing the project and managing
the team members.
- Parsons
is the lead designer for structure and highway design, traffic
engineering, staging and permitting.
- Modjeski and Masters
is responsible for the design of the bridge's operating machinery and
electrical control systems.
- Gill Engineering
specializes in bridge design and construction. This firm will
address the design of the approach roadways to the bridge.
- Haley and Aldrich
is responsible for geotechnical engineering and design.
- Dan Brown
and Associates will design the new bridge's foundations.
- Howard/Stein-Hudson
supports the public involvement process.
